FLY FISHING THE WATERS

THE NEW RIVER
The New River is one of the oldest rivers in the world. Its ancient banks wind through southwest Virginia eventually pouring into the Gulf of Mexico. The New is one of Virginia's most scenic rivers. In a day on the New you will experience massive bluffs, deep ledges and frequent riffles and rapids. Furthermore, its water produces phenomenal smallmouth bass fishing, often producing state record fish. The New also hosts a variety of freshwater species including large musky and walleye. Book a trip with us to fish and experience the famous New River.

MOUNTAIN TROUT STREAMS
Virginia is blessed to have hundreds of miles of mountain stream water. These waters boast incredible scenery, characterized by cascading falls, plunge pools and massive limestone boulders. These streams are also home to the beautiful native Brook Trout (brookies). Brookies are native to Virginia and inhabit the higher altitude cold water streams. Brookies readily take a fly and make for phenomenal summer dry fly fishing.

THE JAMES RIVER
The James River is a trophy smallmouth bass river with smallies exceeding 5 pounds. The James is a scenic river, flowing east through Virginia. The James also has excellent musky fishing. The James is the perfect river to stick a once in a lifetime fish.

THE SHENANDOAH RIVER
As far as smallmouth fishing goes, the Shenandoah is a legend. In our experience the Shenandoah produces some of the highest numbers of fish in the state. A float on the Shenandoah will often produce what seems like a fish on every cast day. The Shenandoah also holds good numbers of musky and carp, which are both exciting to target on the fly.
